Salary: £12.57 – £13.93 per hour + Holiday Pay

We are looking for four dedicated Support Workers to join our team in providing 24/7 support to a young female with Cerebral Palsy and PDA.
This is a full-time role on a 4:3 shift pattern, averaging 42 hours per week. You will play a vital role in ensuring consistent care, safety and quality of life for the individual you support.
A female Support Worker is required due to a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR), you will be responsible for daily monitoring and support for an individual with Cerebral Palsy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to clients with complex needs in their own homes or care settings
- Experience supporting individuals with Pathological Demand Avoidance would be beneficial but training is provided.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding (This may involve PEG feeding as well)
- Administer medication and support with clinical procedures (following appropriate training).
- Support clients in accessing community resources, activities, and social events.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families to create and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on client progress and health status.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
About You:
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
Previous experience in a role within health and social care sector (at least 6 months within the UK). - Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are preferred but not essential.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to undergo further training to support the complex needs of our clients.
