About the role:

We are seeking a driven and compassionate Team Leader who can lead by example and provide high quality person-centred care in a supported living environment.

Day to day role specification:

Provide support, guidance and mentorship to the staff delivering care.
Undertake competencies, error investigations and audits for medication records.
Complete monthly audits on the use of Client’s petty cash.
Contribute to the creation of care & support plans, and implement.
Contribute to the creation of risk assessments, and implement.
Complete weekly checks of accurate record keeping, monitoring charts and welfare charts and authorising circulation of information.
Ensure staff are actively working towards supporting Clients to achieve personal goals and aspirations.
Conduct weekly checks of timesheets and provide signatory confirmation and accountability.
Undertake and submit weekly reviews of care, completing relevant reports.
Assist with Induction of new starters and support a buddy system. Set up new staff onto rotas and holiday request software.
Conduct supervisions and probationary reviews, including ad-hoc documented discussions where necessary. Investigate grievance and disciplinary where required.
Report and record complaints and safeguarding concerns where necessary.
Monitor staffing hours for payroll purposes, highlighting any discrepancies.
