There is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, organised, and experienced person to join our team.

You will be responsible for 6 residential services and expected to split your time equally across the 6 services, supporting the house managers that are in place.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Have previous experience of working as a registered manager, preferably within learning disabilities and autism.
  • Have a minimum of NVQ level 5 or equivalent in Health & Social Care.
  • Willing to undertake the Registered Manager application process with CQC.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of CQC’s fundamental standards.
  • Be supportive, encouraging and be able to empower people, in order to get the best from them.
  • Be able to follow and implement positive behaviour support plans.
  • Understanding of the safeguarding process and ability to follow this process
  • Willing to undertake further training as necessary
  • Be willing to undertake on call duties
  • Be flexible in approach.
  • Be involved in recruitment
  • Previous knowledge or carrying out assessments on potential new clients and be able to support transition processes
  • Support the house managers that are in place by being visible on a daily basis.
  • Carry out audits on the services, ensuring everything is up to date and is being followed
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle as this is a multi-site role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • IT literate
  • Be responsible to the Senior Operations Manager
  • Attend regular staff meetings and meetings with professionals when necessary
  • Oversee the health and safety in each of the services
  • Ensure that all aspects of infection control are being followed
  • Assess, implement and follow the company’s policies and procedures
  • Complete monthly reports to feedback at regular meetings

Starting salary: £33,000 per annum
